Hiring HSE Engineer – NWC Infrastructure Project, Al Ahsa

Barq Al Mustaqbal Co. is looking for a qualified HSE Engineer to join an NWC Infrastructure Project in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in construction and infrastructure safety, especially water network and pipeline projects. The role requires implementing project HSE procedures, ensuring compliance with NWC standards, Saudi regulations, and international HSE requirements, while supporting safe work execution across all site activities.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor the project HSE Management System.
Ensure full compliance with NWC HSE requirements, project specifications, and Saudi safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions or unsafe acts.
Prepare and review risk assessments, JSA, method statements, and toolbox talks.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and follow up corrective actions.
Monitor subcontractors and ensure they follow project HSE requirements.
Maintain HSE reports, inspection records, training records, and safety documentation.
Conduct safety trainings, awareness sessions, emergency drills, and toolbox meetings.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices at site.
Coordinate with NWC representatives, consultants, contractors, and project teams on HSE matters.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
Previous experience in NWC projects is required.
Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and international safety standards.
Good experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, inspections, and HSE reporting.
Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Good command of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Project Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following NWC scopes will be preferred:

Water transmission and distribution networks
Water pipeline installation and connections
HDPE, DI, and steel pipeline works
Pumping stations
Water reservoirs and storage tanks
Valve chambers and related appurtenances
Hydrostatic testing, flushing, and disinfection
Testing, commissioning, and project handover
Coordination with NWC inspectors and project stakeholders
Compliance with NWC specifications, standards, and HSE requirements
Mandatory Requirements
Valid transferable Iqama
Saudi Council of Engineers registration is mandatory
NEBOSH IGC certification is preferred
OSHA certification is preferred
