We Are Hiring: Lifting Supervisor

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Lifting Supervisor to join our construction project.

Position Details

Job Title: Lifting Supervisor
Required Experience: Minimum 5 years
Certification: LEEA certification is mandatory
Industry: Construction and Heavy Lifting Operations

Candidate Requirements

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor
✅ Valid LEEA certification
✅ Strong experience in construction lifting operations
✅ Ability to prepare lifting plans for routine and complex lifting activities
✅ Good knowledge of crane operations, rigging methods and lifting accessories
✅ Ability to review crane load charts and lifting capacities
✅ Experience in selecting suitable cranes, rigging equipment and lifting accessories
✅ Good knowledge of tandem lifting, critical lifting and heavy lifting operations
✅ Ability to calculate load weight, sling angles, centre of gravity and lifting radius
✅ Strong understanding of lifting permits, risk assessments and method statements
✅ Ability to conduct pre-lift meetings, Toolbox Talks and lifting team briefings
✅ Good communication and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

The selected Lifting Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all lifting activities at the site.

The candidate will ensure that lifting operations are carried out according to the approved lifting plan, risk assessment, method statement and project safety requirements.

The Lifting Supervisor will inspect cranes, lifting tools and accessories before use, verify third-party certificates and ensure that only trained and certified crane operators, riggers and signalmen are involved in lifting activities.

The candidate must be capable of preparing and reviewing complex lifting plans, including crane positioning, lifting radius, boom length, ground conditions, outrigger requirements, load distribution, rigging arrangements and exclusion zones.

The Lifting Supervisor will also conduct pre-lift briefings, monitor weather and wind conditions, stop unsafe lifting activities and maintain proper lifting records and inspection documentation.
